In the heart of Salzburg province (Gastein ski area) lies Bad Gastein. The resort, which is one of Austria’s largest. Exits above 2,500 meters (8,200 feet), with 205km of downhill skiing (178 individual pistes, served by 50 ski lifts) skiing and snowboarding are assured throughout the season.
