The bus network covers the Ho Chi Minh City Metropolitan Area. Many city buses pass by the main attractions. There are three bus terminals Mien Dong Station, Ben Thanh Station, and Cho Lon Station, where most of the buses arrive/depart to different parts of the city, as well as, the country. Bus route 149 will take you to Saigon train station, bus route 1 to Binh Tay Market and Cholon Bus Station, while bus line 26 runs to Mien Dong bus station.
Saigon railway station is located around 1 km from the city centre. It is the most important railway hub in Vietnam. There are regular railway connections to Hanoi, Hue, Danang, Nha Trang, Dong Hoi, and other major cities in Vietnam.
Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) is the main gateway for arriving in southeastern Vietnam and the busiest one in the country. It is located 6 km north of the city centre.
In front of the international terminal, you will find the bus station. Bus line 109 and 15 connect the airport with Ho Chi Minh City. Also, there are express minibus services that run to Vung Tau and other cities in Mekong Delta.
