The bus network in Plovdiv runs throughout the city as well as its suburbs. The bus system runs from 5.30 am until 11 pm every day. The bus fare is very cheap and the ticket can be bought from the bus driver once you board the bus.
Plovdiv also offers shuttle services which are called routees or as the locals call them marshrutki. The 12 to 15 seat white vans run throughout the city in 4 lines, taking you to your destination.
