Antalya is the largest city on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, located in southwest Anatolia. The public transport is well-organized and includes buses, trams, taxis, minibuses and dolmus.
The tram network in Antalya consists of two tram lines. The first one runs from Museum to Zerdalilik, while the second one from Fatih to Meydan. Both tram lines pass through the city centre. The tram service is perfect for sightseeing and is available from 07:00 to 23:00.
The public system is very efficient and used widely by tourists. It covers most of the city and its surrounding area. There are regular bus lines to the main attractions and most popular beaches in Antalya. All buses depart from the bus station located in the city centre.
There are taxi stands all over the city where the drivers have their base and teapot. Each taxi is metered and there are two different rates, night and day taxi fare.
Dolmus is a shared large taxi or a minibus that follows a certain route. You can find a dolmus station at most of the major stations. In Antalya, the dolmus is scheduled.
