Holesovice train station serves international and inter-regional trains going north of the city, while Smichov train station is a terminal for regional trains serving the eastern part of the country.

Several bus stations serve Prague, each with an underground connection to the rest of the city. Florence is the main international bus station operating with frequent buses to Karlovy Vary and Brno.
